Chaplaincy Program: The Larger AAR Annual MeetingAAR-CERP Annual Chaplaincy ConferenceChaplaincy Conference Participants’ Guide to the 2019 AAR Annual MeetingAt the same time and general location that the AAR-CERP Annual Chaplaincy Conference is occurring on Saturday, so too will be another gathering called the “AAR Annual Meeting.” The AAR Annual Meeting is geared toward scholars and draws thousands of attendees to hundreds of sessions. It continues Saturday night through Tuesday morning. There is no expectation whatsoever that you necessarily stay to attend the AAR Annual Meeting, but if you have the time and are so inclined you may at no charge; your badge for the chaplaincy sessions serves as your entry into the regular AAR sessions, as well. For information on hundreds of AAR Annual Meeting sessions, see the searchable online Program Book. Each day the Convention Center hosts the world’s largest bookstore on religion. Information on Annual Meeting lodging, tours of local religious sites, and other special events is here.
