Your AAR staff continues to work toward holding the Annual Meeting in Boston, Nov. 21-24, 2020. We are aware of the uncertainty and contradictory projections related to the COVID-19 pandemic and with health and safety as a priority, we will continue monitoring the guidance of governments and health experts as we plan and make decisions. Sarah Levine is the director of publications where she directs AAR's publishing programs, policies, and initiatives including AAR's five books series, JAAR, and Reading Religion. She also works on issues related to academic labor justice and visibility in religious studies. She is the staff liaison to the Academic Labor and Contingent Faculty Committee, the Publications Committee, and the five book award juries. Prior to joining the AAR,she earned her BA in MA in religious studies from Georgia State University. Her area of focus was the nexus of performing arts, religion, and philosophy in early 20th century Europe.
